This painting shows a girl having a picnic on the grass. I aimed for an impressionist technique of distinct brush strokes. What I like most about this style is that with little detail it is able to create unique compositions, that from a small distance make no sense but as one steps away it all starts to take shape. It allows one to experiment with shapes and have a more loose grip on the brush.
