This painting was heavily inspired by the artist Vinessa Redford. She uses the paint brush and watercolors in a way that isn’t primarily controlled by her. I tried to incorporate this into my work to try and free my mind from the need of perfection, let loose, and just go with the flow of the brush. I especially love how the colours mixed and the combination of soft and hard edges.
