In this project the mission was to make two drawings of the same subject, but one being loyal to the picture, while making the other of a lower degree of iconocity.
I enjoyed making this project since I generally strive for perfection, and the more abstract piece allowed me let loose with the shapes and where my markers went. In the first drawing I really love how the shadows on the jumper turned out, and in the second piece I especially love the dynamic pose I was able to create and the new shapes that I would normally never make. One observation I found quite funny was the fact that the head turned out to look very similar to a mug.
