This painting turned out to be one of my favourite school projects. At first I didn’t have much hope in it, but after seeing the final result I was amazed. This was the first painting I made in an impriessionist style which made me fall in love with this technique. It might come off as a bit of a surprise but one of my favourite parts in this paining is the red table cloth. From up close it’s a disaster but the rich red colour and some distance do the trick. I struggled a bit with the yellow flowers because the yellow acrylic paint is half transparent which made it difficult to get the result I needed, but in the end, it turned out amazing.
