This piece was made during a trip to Holland. I experimented with a new rendering technique I learned which consists in roughly blocking in the shadows and setting them to multiply, and then adding in the colour, texture and final touches. I used a reference I found on pinterest of a static pose in which some movement could also be observed, and now it turned into one of my favourite pieces.
